Is telehealth therapy safe?
Our video conference meetings are scheduled through secure platforms that ensure confidentiality and are fully HIPPA Compliant. During our inital interview we will discuss the meeting platform options and see which is right for you.
How long does treatment last?
Treatment length is a case by case situation and could varie based on your reasons for coming to therapy, consistency of attending scheduled meetings and collaboration in and out of the therapy session. In some cases, clients are able to meet their goals in 10-12 sessions. In other cases, they many need more time to achieve their goals.
If you are seeing my child, will I be included in the process?
Of course you will be included! As a parent, your collaboration is a key element in child's or adolescent's therapy sessions. It is important that there is a good rapport and trust between the child/adolescent and therapist, and your involvement may vary through the treatment process.
How do I get started?
Do you take insurance?
Yes, I am In-Network with United Health Care, Aetna, Cigna and Tricare East for FL, SC and VA. If I am not In-Network with your Insurance you may be able to utilize Out of Network benefits if your plan offers it. Can online therapy be effective?
Yes! It has been proven to an effective mode of providing therapy as providers are required to utilize a secure, HIPAA complaint platform of electronic record keeping and video conferencing. However it is important to note that telehealth therapy may not be for everyone.
